Hi, my name is Ulrich Wollborn.

I was born in Düsseldorf and still live here today. The city has been with me for many years, and I continually discover new perspectives that inspire me photographically. For a long time, photography was just a side note in a busy professional and family life. Now it has regained a permanent place, as an expression of my view of the world.
I work across a range of photographic genres, but my strongest pull is toward artistic photography. My compositions/motifs emerge most often in urban spaces, while traveling, and in spontaneous moments that resonate with me. It is important to me to capture people and places with respect and mindfulness, especially when individuals become part of an image.
